Iceland's classic route, plus a visit to a geothermal greenhouse farm, ending with a relaxing visit to the brand-new geothermal spa on the banks of the Hvítá river.
Known for its glacier-carved landscapes and beautiful hiking trails, Þórsmörk — the Forest of Thor — reveals its best in autumn colours. The valley crosses glacial rivers and is only reachable by guided 4x4 bus. Enjoy breathtaking views of volcanoes, glaciers and the unspoiled nature of Þórsmörk, a hiker's paradise.
Witness unique and abundant waterfalls and glacial views, and visit the infamous Reynisfjara black-sand beach and the lovely village of Vík.
Visit the oldest lighthouse in Iceland and hear the legend of the eternal prison of a ghost who once terrorised the Reykjanes Peninsula. Stand on the bridge between the Eurasian and North American tectonic plates, and explore the colourful hot springs around Reykjanes.
Two departure points today: Hótel Selfoss, or Reykjanesbær (Keflavík) at 08:30 — handy if you're flying in Wednesday evening and staying near the airport. Both buses end at Hótel Selfoss. Choose your pickup point when you book.
A relaxed walk through central Selfoss with local guides — visit Skyrland, the Skyr Museum, for a tasting, and get pointed towards the town's best landmarks and shops. A light walk suitable for everyone.
All pre-tours depart from and return to Hótel Selfoss.
If a pre-tour doesn't reach the minimum number of bookings, it will be cancelled and you'll receive a full refund.
